St Mary's School Ascot has a fine tradition of Alexander Technique, started by Mary Walker over 20 years ago, and it is valued and thriving within the school.
St Mary's is a boarding school of about 450 girls between 11 and 18. The new intake girls in years 7 and 9 all attend introductory talks on Alexander and around 50 girls have weekly lessons.
The pastoral care at St Mary’s is strong, and the wide range of benefits Alexander brings to the girls is evident and appreciated.
